Brett Free VerseThe Virginia Beer Company
Williamsburg, VA
IPA
6.8% ABV77 IBU
So one day we diverted regular Free Verse wort to a different fermentation vessel, where it was fermented solely with a strain of Brettanomyces isolated from a respected Belgian Lambic producer. As opposed to the ale yeast used to ferment traditional Free Verse, this Brett fermentation showcases distinct pineapple and overripe mango flavors with a touch of tropical funk. The beer received the standard Free Verse dry-hopping treatment in order to maximize hop aroma.
Double Chocolate Espresso Evil SantaThe Virginia Beer Company

Stout

Spiced Milk Stout brewed with Cacao Nibs & Espresso! A rich, warming base of Evil Santa Spiced Milk Stout (brewed with Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice, & Milk Sugar) is layered with additions of bittersweet Cacao Nibs. Then concentrated Espresso -- brewed by the elves at Ironclad Coffee Roasters in Richmond, Virginia -- balances out this nuanced and decadent (with just a hint of bite) belter.
