Respect Your Elderberries is a barrel aged, sour beer aged with Maine Elderberries. It is deep purple in color with a fluffy pink head (looks like a cartoon beer). The aroma is wine like with oak and elderberries being most prevalent. The flavor is tart, with lots of Elderberry flavor and some soft spice notes. 7.9% ABV. Released April 2012.
