Imperial Stout – 11% ABV
This beer refers to a historical episode in which the Russian Empress Catherine the Great could not get enough of the deep dark and heavy English stouts. The journey from England to Russia lasted a long time. Additional alcohol was therefore necessary to ensure sustainability.
