Friends and brewers Shawn Lawson and Mike Gerhart have teamed up to create a beer that features the best qualities of each brewery. Lawson, the bold adventurous brewer of Lawson’s Finest Liquids has earned a reputation for top-notch IPAs and award-winning maple beers. Fans flock to central Vermont in search of Lawson’s small-batch bottled creations and to enjoy his draught beer to select handful of your bars at a select handful of beer bars and restaurants. Gerhart is a rising-star of the Green Mountain beer scene. With a polished background at some of the most prestigious breweries in United States, his hard work and commitment to excellence can be tasted every batch of Otter Creek beer. Otter Creek and Lawson’s Finest have gone to the great lengths to deliver the highest quality beer includes water from each brewery, locally sourced specialty malt, and a dose of freshly harvested Vermont hops. This collaboration creation combines the talents of the two brewers into the uniquely delicious Double Dose IPA--brewed in the spirit of friendship, fun and really great beer. Cheers!

Hazy in color, smooth by nature and free flowing by choice. The newest, freshest IPA from the OCB Crew, Free Flow IPA is full Falconer’s Flight, Citra and Galaxy hop goodness with a hit of oats thrown in the mash to create smooth, hazy profile.

Brewmaster Mike Gerhart’s Fresh Slice White IPA. Brewed with a dose of coriander and a hit of natural clementine flavor.

A big, unfiltered American IPA built to accompany the big Eastern Winter. Just like an epic bluebird day follows a snow storm, a peppery build from the Rye-malt accompanies glorious hop notes of pine, citrus and fresh grass. The bold Rye-malt backbone warms the soul, whether after a long day on the slopes with your buds, or just sitting in front of the fireplace at home. At 60 IBUs, Kind Ryed uses a combination of Apollo, Simcoe, Chinook and Centennial hops to create a drinkable brew that won’t wipe out your tastebuds. The new look bottle label and packaging artwork goes out-of- bounds and embraces the freeriding spirit of our Brewmaster, Mike Gerhart. Dripping with dank, American hop flavors and aromas, Overgrown is balanced by a subtle, sweet malt backbone that takes a back seat to the bountiful hop additions. Every so often we brew this utopian stout that manifests flavors of caramel, chocolate and coffee. This silky smooth, motor-oil black brew clocks in at 10% ABV. Like the first stouts brewed for Russian Czars, this offering is big, bold and built to last. Grab a few for the cellar, a couple for your comrades and enjoy because— like those Czars of yesteryear— this beer won't be around for long.

Wildflower Wheat is a delicious unfiltered wheat ale brewed with organic chamomile flowers and a hint of pure organic Vermont honey.

Brewed with organic roasted barley and chocolate malts for a rich, dark and robust flavor with an infusion of organic vanilla beans and coffee from the Dominican Republic farm community Alta Gracia.

This pumpkin ale is brewed with organic pumpkins grown by Will and Judy Stevens, of Golden Russet Farm in Shoreham, VT, less than 15 miles away from our brewery. They have been growing organic vegetables and flowers for more than 25 years. Using local, organic ingredients whenever possible and supporting local farmers is just one of the many ways that we strive to minimize our impact on the environment. The subtle flavor of pumpkin and mild notes of spice enhance this golden amber ale, making it a perfect choice for the season.
