Porter
5.8% ABV39 IBU
This session porter is easy on the ABV but not lacking in flavor. With big notes of chocolate and coffee in the nose this dark ale does not disappoint. Chocolate, black and crystal malt bring flavors of dark cocoa, biscuit, toffee and while the English hops provide an earth yet balanced undertone.
Seasonal Pumpkin AleC'ville-ian Brewing Co.
Charlottesville, VA
Pumpkin
4.6% ABV15 IBU
This beer looks like pumpkin; burnt orange hue with a frothy cream colored head that sticks to the side of the glass causing a bit a lacing. Huge notes of cinnamon, graham craker, toffee and holiday spice in the nose. The taste is bready with big flavors of allspice and nutmeg and there is a hunt of pumpkin on the mid-palate due to the addition of pumpkin in the mash. The spice character on this beer lasts long after the sip has been swallowed, finishing sweet with just a hint of English hops.
