We crafted this very tart and dry Saison with the invasive species Autumn Olive’s berries for our Charity beer and wine dinner supporting the vital work being done by VCU’s River Rice Center, August 28th, 2017. We allowed the wild yeast and bacteria present in the Autumn Olive berry puree to lend acidity and complex flavors to this brew.

Smooth Porter crafted with milk sugar and cold brewed Rostov’s Bali Blue Moon Coffee. Fermented in Wine Barrels.

In collaboration with the epic rock band Big Mama Shakes we present Big Mama Brown. BMB is an imperial brown ale crafted with loads of brown sugar & UK East Kent Golding Hops.

Complex DIPA crafted with Cryo Hops Lupulin Powder.

A British style brown with an American twist. Clean, drinkable with a restrained bitterness but quite rich in caramel, chocolate, and nuts. Nutella and peanut butter on toast Tasting Notes Aroma: Earthy, Toast, Chocolate, Mellow Coffee, Nutty. Flavor: Toast, Chocolate, Coffee, Nutella, Rich Malt.

Smoked ale that pulls inspiration from Scottish Ales and German Rauch Beers. This ale is brewed with judicious amounts of Cherry Wood Smoked Malts and plenty of caramel malts for balance.

German Wheat Ale accentuated with a big hit of Rye Malt, Lemongrass, Grains of Paradise, Peppercorns, Sweet Orange Peels, Mediterranean Sea Salt and Coriander.

Our take on a Belgian Wit fermented in wine barrels. Highly quaffable.

Pushing the boundaries of Belgian beer into the realm of wine. We strive to bring out as much ripe and dark fruit flavors reminiscent of rich red wines as possible. We transfer our Quadruple to red wine barrels just as primary fermentation slows and conduct an extended aging on the lees in the Sur lie style. Tasting Notes: Calvados, Raisin, Prune, Dark Fruit, Port, Red Wine, Oak, Vanilla. Flavor: Warm Alcohol, Sweetness, Red Wine, Oak, Caramel, Toasty Malt, Spice.

Pushing the boundaries of Belgian beer into the realm of wine. We strive to bring out as much ripe and dark fruit flavors reminiscent of rich red wines as possible by fermenting with 2016 Virginia Petit Verdot grapes grown in Garden Grove’s own vineyard at Arterra Winery. We then transferred our Quadruple into Syrah wine barrels just as primary fermentation slows and conducted an aging for 4 months. Death is a two time medal recipient winning in the 2016 & 2017 Virginia Craft Beer Cup.

In collaboration with Shyndigz Dessert Restaurant we crafted a porter designed to replicate their Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake. We followed their recipe and ingredient list as closely as possible and have created a deliciously decadent dessert beer.

Our interpretation of a Dry Irish Stout. Malty yet dry and not heavy. Pleasant Roast Barley, chocolate, and coffee notes.

Made with Hawaiian ginger.

Dessert in a glass. A chocolate lovers dream beer. Intentionally sweet and oozing with creamy caramel. Just enough salt to balance the sweetness. Tasting Notes Aroma: Dark Chocolate, Caramel, Candy Bar. Flavor: Layers of Chocolate, Sweet Caramel, Brown Sugar, Almond, Salt.

German Style Hefeweizen brewed with all German Ingredients

American IPA crafted with Virginia Barley & Belma Hops. Made for The Street Fighter II Turbo SNES Tournament, Soundtrack Release, & Beer Release Party Fundraiser to benefit Building a Better RPS.

A Black Ale made with British Malts & Yeast, and Hops from Germany & the UK. Our Black ale was fermented in red wine barrels and showcases a hop character that is Herbal, earthy, and spicy.

Rosé style sparkling Honey Wine made with Orange Blossom and a pinch of peaches, apples, and flowers. Fermented in Red Wine Barrels.

Sparkling Honey wine made with Orange Blossom & Clover honey as well as a variety of fruits and flowers.

Belgian Wit crafted with Kumquats to help accent the citrus character of the Bitter & Sweet orange peels as well as the coriander and the grains of paradise. Fermented in Red Wine Barrels.

A Belgian Dubbel crafted with Trappist Yeast and Four Fruits (Blueberries, Aronia Berries, Figs, and Raisins). Fermented in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc wine barrels.

Classic English Pale Ale crafted with a variety of UK hops and Fermented in red wine barrels.

Belgian Wit that strays from the style guidelines from the jump. Bursting with citrus character, refreshing and crushable. Fermented in Syrah Barrels.

Honey based sparkling beverage reminiscent of sparkling wine. Crafted with Orange Blossom and Virginia Summer Thistle Honey. Orange Blossom honey is accented with Orange Zest and Hibiscus Flowers.

Partisan Pilsner is made in a richer fuller style reminiscent of beers made before prohibition reduced beers to the weak adjunct produced American lagers unfortunately still popular around the world today. It is malty and balanced with a fine European hop bitterness.

Sparkling Honey Wine made with Orange Blossom Honey, Peaches, and Lemon Zest. Made in partnership with Anthem Lemon Aid Stand to support local kids with cancer.

To celebrate our 2 year anniversary we crafted an ale that is a blend of beer and wine styles. It is nicely balanced between tart wheat characteristics and fruit forward wine flavors. Crafted with the juice and wine of the famous French grape variety Petit Verdot from Garden Grove’s own Vineyard in Delaplane, VA. Fermented and aged in Red Wine Barrels.

Belgian Gold brewed to be crisp, quaff-able and to highlight the noble hop character of French Strisselspalt hops.

Classic west coast Red IPA. Malty sweetness balanced by a clean lingering bitterness.

Sparkling Honey wine made with Clover Honey and orange peel, tangerine peel, and grapefruit.

Our British red ale is an exercise in malt and hop excess. The malt and hop characters are in a battle to be the stars. Tasting Notes Aroma: Caramel, Plums, Toast, Earth, Floral, Spice, Herbal, Currant, Bramble, Thyme. Flavor: Malty, Caramel, Biscuit, Floral, Earthy, Herbal.

A wonderful mashup of two of our favorite styles of beer, Saison & IPA. In this ale both styles showcase their individuality while complementing the other.

Hybrid between an English & Belgian Brown fermented with Red Sour Cherries in Red Wine Barrels.

We aim to have an ever evolving complex Imperial Stout reminiscent of a fine port by using the Solera System. We generally blend in up to 10% of older vintages of our Imperial Stout into the most recent batch in the fermenter. Tasting Notes Aroma: Dark Chocolate, Coffee, Chicory, Ripe Fruit, Banana Bread, Dried Berries, Licorice. Flavor: Chocolate, Lightly Roasted Coffee, Bananas Foster, Star Anise, Macaroons, Leather.

Bright & Refreshing Sparkling Honey Wine accented with fruit and flowers. Made with Orange Blossom Honey and Fermented in Wine Barrels.

This IPA featuring hops entirely from New Zealand and Australia introduces a fruit forward hop character completely unique from West Coast, East Coast, and British IPAs. The malt character is rich yet the beer is still dry and crisp ensuring that the hops are the star attraction. Tasting Notes Aroma: Mango, White Grapefruit, Boxwood, Honeydew, Lime, Lemon Thyme. Flavor: Mango, Lime, Passion Fruit, Cointreau, White Peach, Limestone, Citrus Zest, Pineapple, Candied Papaya.

A confused soul that is reminiscent of a fine sparkling wine. Our Sparkler is formulated with white sorghum, orange blossom honey and finished with a touch of the French hop variety Strisselpalt to heighten the fruity aromas. Great acidity, effervescence, fruit, and delicious honey flavors make it thirst quenching. Tasting Notes Aroma: Orange, Tangerine, Floral, Honey. Flavor: Orange, Floral, Crisp, Tart, Citrus Zest.

Strong Belgian Gold brewed with spices including foraged Spice Bush Leaves. Brewed in collaboration with VCU’s River Rice Center.

A refreshing ale brewed with a botanical bounty of fresh fruits, herbs, and flowers. Made with Virginia grown malt and fermented in wine barrels.

Lemony pear tart sparkling beer.

Dank Double IPA brewed with Hop Hash from the new hop variety Idaho 7. Hop hash is the resinous, sticky, and gooey hop oils that are collected when processing fresh hop flowers. It is intense, tropical, and bursting with hop goodness. Triple Dry Hopping with Citra, Azacca, and Palisade Hops.

“The Bee & The Vine” is a Sparkling Honey Wine made with local Virginia honey, Virginia Vidal Blanc grapes, and lemongrass, and is fermented in red wine barrels.

Possibly our favorite beer. Amazingly clean and easy drinking at 8% ABV. Layers of flavor that develop with age. Full of dark fruit, malt, esters, and a hint of chocolate. Tasting Notes Aroma: Caramel, Dark Rock Candy, Chocolate Covered Cherries, Banana, Sour, Fig Preserves, Raisin, Cloves, Yeasty. Flavor: Rum Cake, Gingerbread, Cloves, Figs, Prunes, Caramelized Sugar, Pumpkin Spice.

IPA crafted with El Dorado Hop Hash and El Dorado hops.

A delicious blend of fruit and spice on a barley, wheat, and rye base. This ale cherishes and toys with the Saison tradition. Tasting Notes Aroma: Peach, Honeysuckle, Banana, Rosehip, Citrus, Fresh Cut Flowers, Pink & Black Peppercorn, Cantaloupe. Flavor: Grapefruit Zest, Herbal, Umami, Tart, Passion Fruit, Citrus, Spice.

Esters and Phenols take flight at 9.1% ABV with the right amount of malt character to keep it grounded Tasting Notes Aroma: Honey, Apple, Spice, Pepper. Flavor: Ripe Fruit, Honey, Estery, Citrus, Pear, French Bread.

Our Golden Rye balances the fresh fruit esters of strong golden ales with a triple attack of spice from phenols, rye, and a plethora of carefully balanced spices from around the globe. Tasting Notes Aroma: Exotic Yeast, Tropical, Pepper, Biscuit, Pumpernickel, Asian Pear. Flavor: Pear, Asian Five Spice, Ginger, Peppercorn, Bready Malt.
