Saison – 8% ABV – 20 IBU

For the Chardonnay Brett Saison, we aged our saison in New Kent Winery chardonnay barrels with brettanomyces. The beer is pale gold and slightly cloudy. The aroma presents a pleasant balance between our saison yeast, classic brett funk, and chardonnay. The mouthfeel is drier and lighter bodied than the base beer. The chardonnay character is privileged over the brett, though the flavor still offers dry, fruity, barnyard funk.
