Belgian Strong – 9.5% ABV – 25 IBU
This one of a kind Belgian Strong Ale was fermented in Octagon Red Wine barrels from Barboursville Vineyard. A hearty body and mouthfeel from the Virginia-grown, Copper Fox Barley Malt, a stone-fruit, raisin, caramel sweetness from the Belgian Dark Caramalt, a slightly tangy/tart fruit profile from the Belgian Yeast and grape skin tanin and oak flavor coming from the wine barrel all combine to make this unique beer quite the experience.
