| Firefly Nights | | Three Notch'd Charlottesville, VA | Summer Ale 5.2% ABV–15 IBU | "I created this beer as a reflection of the summers of my childhood growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Two of my favorite things to do was chasing fireflies with a mason jar and indulging in the sweet nectar of the honeysuckle flower, which grew wild throughout my neighborhood. My favorite time of the year is when I see fireflies for the first time and it takes me back to that period in my life. This light, crisp, refreshing summer ale with the sweet, fruity, floral flavors of delicious honeysuckle pays homage to those warm summer evenings when life was so simple. And of course, it must be served in a mason jar! Enjoy!"

| Fluffy Pillow New England IPA w/ Vic Secret & Citra | | Three Notch'd Charlottesville, VA | IPA 7.2% ABV–25 IBU | New England IPA’s should feel like a fluffy pillow (if that pillow was filled with citrusy juice) in your mouth. We feel like we definitely hit the mark here. Low IBUs with massive taste come from adding hops before and after the boil, not during. Vast amounts of Vic Secret and Citra hops were added first during the whirlpool to try and stir and rouse the delicious flavors, followed by an intense dry hop schedule closer to the end of fermentation. The result: one fluffy, and juicy, pillow. |

| Hansel and Kettle | | Three Notch'd Charlottesville, VA | Oktoberfest 8% ABV | The beloved fairy-tale of Hansel and Gretel has no connections to Virginia, but it is a great example of leaving your mark and a great tie-in to a German-style beer. The two German children were able to leave their markings in the form of pebbles and breadcrumbs in the forest to prevent themselves from getting lost. We’re leaving our mark with an exciting twist on a classic German beer. This Imperial Marzen-style lager is big in flavor with the bready(breadcrumbs perhaps?)/biscuit/caramel flavors of a traditional marzen magnified. The big blend of noble hops makes this beer a perfectly balanced brew. |

Way before our brewhouse was even delivered, Scott was a big supporter of Three Notch'd and all local breweries. In memory of Scott, who lost his battle with ALS in 2016, we were honored to brew a beer with his all-time favorite, "G'Knight" by Oskar Blues in mind. Designed by former Sedona Taphouse Bar Manager, Steve Pippin, this Imperial Red IPA packs a punch with a hearty caramel-like malt body, beautifully balanced by a citrusy and piney American hop kick. We're sure Scott would've loved it and in his honor, we will be donating $1 of every 'Hutson's Hope' pint sold to the Richard R. Dart ALS Clinic of the University of Virginia. |
| Hydraulion | | Three Notch'd Charlottesville, VA | Irish Red Ale 5.3% ABV–22 IBU | In 1828, the University of Virginia created their own fire company made up of students, professors and servants. Their sole fire engine was called the Hydraulion, a pump wagon with the waterpower of 16 men. The UVA Fire Company left their mark for almost 100 years before giving way to the town of Charlottesville’s Fire Department. Our Hydraulion Red is a nod to not only UVA’s firefighters, but the brave men and women everywhere who risk their lives every day, while saving ours.
This Irish-Style Red is a perfectly balanced beer with a great caramel sweetness alongside a tangy, citrusy hop profile. |

As refreshing as it is crushable, the Simcoe and Falconer’s Flight hops balance each other with a subtle fruitiness and aromatic, piney flavors that remind Willey of his beloved mountain summer getaway. |

| No Veto | | Three Notch'd Charlottesville, VA | English Brown Ale 5% ABV | Give me liberty, or give me death! Our tribute to Patrick Henry, who not only left his mark on Virginia history, but was also one of our most beloved Founding Fathers. Henry led the opposition to the Stamp Act, but he was also central to arguing in a Virginia court against the King's right to veto colonial laws. The Crown's veto was nullified in his efforts and his argument was the first notch in a young Patrick Henry's career. Cheers to the break from the Crown, Patty! Hope you enjoy our English Brown Ale as a tribute!
This Northern English Brown Ale is filled with a variety of English malts giving it great caramel, nutty, toffee flavors with a touch of chocolate and even espresso. The English hops offer the perfect balance to the complex malt sweetness, providing an earthy/grassy hop finish. |

| Of, By, For Lager | | Three Notch'd Charlottesville, VA | Pilsner | Of us, By us, For us! Our nod to some of the most scholarly politicians that walked Virginia, and also to the great lives that were lost during the War Between the States. Although President Lincoln left his mark on this nation forever in Gettysburg, PA by giving his view of government as being one Of the People, For the People and By the People, this political philosophy was referenced by Madison in our Federalist Papers and by Jefferson in his writings. This lager is brewed with the people in mind and meant for all of us. Leave your Mark! This all American lager is a light, crisp refreshing beer that is single-hopped with Sterling hops.
A crossbreed of Czech Saaz and Mt. Hood, Sterling is the heart of this beer, providing a great spicy/herbal finish with a touch of citrus. The pilsner malts provide a crisp, clean finish, making this beer the perfect, light-but-flavorful lager |

| Ploughman's Porter English Porter | | Three Notch'd Charlottesville, VA | Porter 5.1% ABV–35 IBU | “Ploughman’s Porter” is based on an 18th century recipe. Meant to be lighter, less roasty and more caramel-y, this is one “light” dark beer. Using 100% hops from the UK, the malt is the actual star of this beer. The darkest malts were added after mash in to get the color and leave out the sharp bitterness. This beer was originally made to drink at room temperature from a cask, so if you really want the full experience, warm it up in your hands before taking the first sip. Cheers! |

| Sticky Wicket | | Three Notch'd Charlottesville, VA | IPA 7.5% ABV–95 IBU | To be blunt, this IPA doesn't follow the same script as most IPA's in today's market with their fruity, citrus, low bitterness qualities. This beer is piney, pungent, bitter and dank, encompassing everything we loved about IPAs just 5-10 years ago. The high bitterness is coming from a joint effort between the American-grown CTZ and Simcoe hops. With just a toke of caramalt, the light malt profile allows the hops to burn through. |

| The Trader | | Three Notch'd Charlottesville, VA | Saison 7.1% ABV–25 IBU | We, who live by values, not by loot, are traders, both in matter and in spirit. The Saison style of beer originates from farmers in French-Belgium regions that would brew during the winter months for refreshment during the busier, hotter months of the summer. Virginia’s history is rich in the farm trade and Three Notch’d Road was a central thoroughfare that facilitated this trade. The Trader is our tribute to the mark this hard work left for all of us to benefit from.
This Farmhouse Ale, originating from the Northern France/Southern Belgium region, encompasses the flavors of many herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables that were historically added by the farmhands after harvest each year. Our Brewmaster will be chopping away, as well, into the 200 pounds of locally grown pumpkins for our Three Chopt Pumpkin Ale.
This fall harvest beer is a gathering of everything we know and love about the fall (except football). Laying the foundation is a nice hearty malt profile with a blend of caramel and crystal malts.
