Oatmeal Stout – 6.3% ABV – 25 IBU
“Where It All Began…” is a tribute to all of the homebrewers with the passion for the craft beer. Longtime friends Aaron Thackery (our RVA Taproom Manager) and Adam Putnam began homebrewing back in 2009 and one of their 1st recipes they created was an Oatmeal Stout with tons of dark malts, oats and earthy hops. The finished product is silky smooth with notes of toasted oak chips and some dark roasty goodness. Cheers to all of the homebrewers out their trying to live the dream!
