“Lichtbrecher” is a German word that loosely translates to “light crusher”. This is a perfect description of this beer, light and crushable. The Berliner Weisse is a light, wheat beer brewed for hot summer days. Almost no hops were added to let the tart flavor from the over night kettle sours shine through. Prost!
