Three Notch'd
Pale Ale – 7% ABV – 17 IBU
SMASH is the acronym for “single malt and single hop.” Designed by husband-and-wife home brewing team Rob Gowen and Seamane Flanagan, this beer uses only Maris Otter malt, giving the beer a hearty, toast-like body, and Cascade hops, which offer a citrusy, slightly bitter balance. Simple but mighty tasty! The SMASH part of the name also refers to the great work Charlottesville’s HOWS Project is doing in smashing the chains of area dogs—building fences and giving the dogs room to run and play!
