Designed by Rob Gowen and Seamane Flanigan, this recipe won the grand prize at Fifth Season's Second Annual "Homebrew for Hunger" competition. This year's batch was barrel fermented, giving the beer a very subtle bourbon flavor. Brewed with Ghirardelli's cocoa powder and home toasted, fresh coconut, this chocolatey, coconut-y porter goes down smooth and easy.
