"Etruscan" is the search for an ancient recipe can, of Etruscan, a fermented beverage. To take part in this adventure, three brewers exception: Teo Musso Baladin, Leonardo di Vincenzo of Birra del Borgo and Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head in collaboration with the American archaeologist, Professor Patrick McGovern, director of the laboratory of molecular archeology ' University of Pennsylvania and an expert in fermented drinks, all Dr. Pat, who has worked with Sam for his Ancient Ales, beers inspired by the ancient civilizations of the world. The aim is to recreate a "beer" that could be drunk by the Etruscans more than 2500 years ago, selecting the ingredients according to the findings made in several Italian archaeological sites, under the supervision of Dr. Pat.
