Duvel

Four generations of the Moortgat family have brought together Pilsner malts, Bohemian hops, and a unique yeast strain to create this intense, aromatic and beguiling ale. This Belgian favourite is best enjoyed chilled (40 - 50 F) with discerning friends or good-looking strangers.

Blonde and refreshing like a Pilsner, but with the flavor, depth and complexity of an ale, Duvel defines the Strong Golden Ale category. The beer's golden hues originate with its Pilsner malts, while Bohemian hops and a unique yeast strain add character, intensity, and a certain verve. It's this beguiling nature that has made Duvel a Belgian favorite. Best With: Pairs well with seafood, particularly steamed mussels, and works well as a stand alone beer. Excellent as an aperitif.

This is the draught beer known variously as Duvel Green/Draught. It is most commonly available in the US and UK, but not in Belgium. This is NOT the same beer as the bottled Duvel Groen. It is NOT the same beer as regular Duvel, which is also a strictly bottled product.

Duvel, considered one of the best or best Brewery in the world. Duvel Single is a 6.8% ABV draught variant of Belgium’s best selling specialty ale Duvel 8.5% ABV. The Single Fermentation refers to the fact that it undergoes just one fermentation process. This gives it a gentle hoppiness, a mild aroma, and a subtle, fruity bite.

For this 2014 edition, our brewers have selected Mosaic. This new US hop variety enhances the beer with a tangerine sweetness, hints of tropical fruit and an interesting blueberry flavour.
