Darkness. The deep ebony color, voluptuous mahogany head and bold, roasty flavors in our Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout are what serious beer drinkers expect from this style. Aromas of freshly baked bread, espresso, and dried cherries meld seamlessly with rich toffee flavors and a creamy mouth feel to create an unparalleled drinking experience.

Untraditional. Inspired by the classic “Bitters” from Great Britain, our Belk’s ESB is an innovative take on the style. With a deep, golden hue and big malty foundation, the spicy, herbal hop aromas and crisp, bitter bite give a West Coast flair to this classic recipe.

The Highway 128 Series is a lineup of unique, yet very sessionable beers. The goal was to provide some new, thought-provoking styles that were fun and challenging to brew, but very easy to drink.

Balance. It’s what makes our Boont Amber Ale so unique: rich, crystal malts give this beer a deep copper hue and contribute a slight caramel sweetness while the herbal, spicy bitterness from carefully selected whole-cone hops impart a crisp, clean finish. Hints of sun toasted grain, toffee, and fruity esters compliment the mellow, noble hop aroma.

Bourbon barrel aged amber ale.

Born from our passion for experimentation, our Briney Melon Gose boasts a thirst-quenching tartness that is perfectly balanced by subtle watermelon flavors and aromas. Gentle additions of sea salt create a refreshing harmony between the acidity and fruity sweetness leading to clean, dry finish.

Dubbel. Inspired by the classic Belgian style, our Brother David’s Double has a dark brown body and aromas of warm cocoa, banana, and cloves. Specialty malts impart a toasted, nutty character and flavors of chocolate covered cherries and candied fruits, while the subdued hop profile and Abbey yeast create spicy, herbal notes that compliment the warm, slightly sweet finish. Winner of a Gold Medal in the 2011 Great American Beer Festival™, Brother David’s Double is a truly complex and potent ale meant to be savored or shared with friends.

Trippel. Similar to Belgian-style Strong Pales, this beer is often characterized by its lighter color, spicy aromatics, and complexity. Brother David’s Triple is brewed with copious amounts of pale malts as well as Belgian candi sugar, giving it a deep golden hue, medium body and rich mouth feel. The dense head gives off aromas of candied orange peel, clover honey, pears, and a hint of freshly mown fields. The fruity esters and spicy hop flavors balance the phenolic characteristics leading to a peppery, citrusy finish.

A variation of our classic Solstice ales. Additions of cardamom, star anise, and vanilla create a mélange of sweetness and complexity; while orange peel, ginger, black pepper add a zesty freshness and a touch of spicy heat.

Our Ee Tah! IPA pours to a bright, golden yellow color with aromas of rich tropical fruit, passion fruit with a hint of citrus. Pale, pilsner, and midnight wheat malts give it a solid malt character while Chinook, Citra, and Amarillo hops impart flavors of ripe tropical fruit, peach and apricot leading to a clean hoppy finish.

Borders. We’ve crossed into uncharted territory with our newest release, El Steinber. In our somewhat unusual take on the style, we add Midnight Wheat malt to give this lager its dark brown color and roasted Indio-Hispano blue corn to lighten the body and create a unique, toasty flavor. German pilsner malt and Saaz hops round out this beer producing a crisp, clean finish and smooth drinkability that is perfect for any occasion.

With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish.

Gose with rose hips and raspberries

Robust. Brewed with a “heelch” (that means “a lot” in Boontling) of Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops, our double IPA has a palate pleasing bitterness that is artfully balanced with a full-bodied malt foundation. With a deep color of polished brass and a nose that sings of pink grapefruit and redwood needles, the rich biscuit-like malt flavors are intertwined with hints of vanilla, mangos, and peppercorns leading to a deep, warming finish.

Brewed with Chinook and Columbus then heavily dry-hopped with Citra and New Zealand Ekuanot, Hop Hyzer is juicy pale ale bursting with tropical fruit aromas and citrus flavors with a clean and mellow bitterness. And at only 4.9%, it’s the perfect beer to complement a casual round with friends or a weekly doubles match. Tee one up and you’ll see what we’re talking about…

Hops. They are the cornerstone of India Pale Ales around the world, and our Hop Ottin’ IPA is no exception. Handcrafted with copious amounts of Columbus and Cascade, this beer is a showcase of bright citrusy aromas, bold grapefruit and pine-like flavors, and the resiny bitterness that hop heads crave. With a brilliant, deep amber color and solid malt backbone, hints of citron, roses, and bergamot climax with a dry, herbal finish in this well balanced interpretation of a West Coast IPA.

Barrel aged sour ale with currant

Belgian wheat beer aged in white wine barrels and allowed to become very slightly sour. This is a wonderful session beer for those of the “sour and funky” persuasion.

Our first Bahl Hornin’ beer was designed to pay tribute to our flagship beer. The recipe is actually the same as regular Boont Amber, just more of every ingredient packed into the same volume- double the hops, double the malts, and double the intensity. What we ended up with is a bigger amber ale that is velvet-smooth, robust and complex: sweet hints of medjool dates, prunes, golden raisins, and toasted marshmallows are balanced to perfection with darker notes of licorice, leather, and tobacco. The flavor is full-bodied to say the least; the moderate and balanced bitterness of the clean, noble hop flavor gives way to malty sweetness without delay. From its burnt-toffee appearance to its lingering complexity of bitter sweetness, this brew is sure to impress the most sophisticated of palates.

Harvest. Our Mendo Mello Estate Wet Hop Ale is brewed with 100% hand-picked Chinook and Cascade hops from our own hop fields located on our brewery grounds in Boonville, CA. Within hours of the harvest, these ‘wet’ hops are added directly to the kettle, imparting herbal, hoppy aromas that hide hints of pine and garden-fresh green vegetable. The flavor has a crisp, hop bitterness supported by a light, bready malt backbone with undertones of toasted bagel. Although the bitterness is fairly high, the lean body and clean hop flavors give this beer a high drinkability.

Saison. Historically brewed on farms in Belgium, these beers were designed to refresh farmhands after a long day’s work. A medley of fresh oats, rye and barley create a harmonious malt balance with a select blend of noble hops in our version of this Belgian-style farmhouse ale. Literally meaning “hay reaper” or more simply “harvest” in Boontling, our Mowkeef Saison is spiced with coriander, star anise, and organic ginger to balance the fruity esters from the yeast. With a nice dry finish, this straw-colored unfiltered ale has layers of complexity and a drinkability that will refresh farmhands and pub-goers alike.

Inspired by our love for the classic bourbon cocktail, this robust brown ale is brewed with orange peel and Hersbrucker hops, which naturally have orange-like flavors. Fresh cherry puree is added towards the end of fermentation, then the beer is aged in Wild Turkey® barrels with aromatic bitters. The rich, caramel malts and fruity, herbal notes complement the bourbon flavors and slightly bitter finish making this a truly complex and satisfying beer.

Refined. Our Poleeko Pale Ale is an exceptionally flavorful and well balanced beer. With a bright, citrusy hop profile and mild maltiness reminiscent of English biscuits, the aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest compliment the brisk, balanced finish to create a truly one-of-a-kind American pale ale.

This fruity and funky offering was created by aging our Mowkeef Saison in local wine “barls” with fresh raspberries and our proprietary wild Horse Tongue Wheat culture. It has soft aromas of raspberry and dried fruits, a refreshingly tart finish, and a “rosy” glow.

Burnish gold hue with a persistent, rocky white head. Floral, spicy aroma redolent of lilacs, white pepper and Bartlett pears with undertones of blueberry honey and roses. A pleasant balance of crisp bitterness with a clean malt profile adorned spicy, herbal hop flavors lasting into a dry refreshing finish.

Smooth. Our Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale is a slightly sweet, malty session beer with a creamy mouth feel and clean finish. With hints of caramel in the nose and a touch of spice, it’s become affectionately known as “cream soda for adults”. The unique flavors and superior drinkability make for the ultimate refreshment on a hot summer day.

Complexity. Aged for three months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels, this luxurious stout has a deep ebony hue and a beautiful mahogany head. The woody, vanilla-like notes imparted by the barrels mingle with aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee, and espresso and envelop the rich chocolate and roasted barley flavors with a fine bourbon character. Our exclusive partnership with Wild Turkey gives Anderson Valley a world class, consistent source of barrelage, allowing our brewers to explore new frontiers in barrel-aged craft beer. Since its introduction, Wild Turkey has maintained a distinctive distillation and ageing process that gives it a smooth taste and a lingering flavor. Wild Turkey uses a differentiated process whereby the bourbon is distilled at a low proof to seal in its flavors. Very little water is added to Wild Turkey, resulting in a full-flavored authentic bourbon taste similar to what one would get straight out of the barrel. Wild Turkey is a genuine drink with a sought after “burn” that comes from its high proof, an attribute fundamental to the brand and critical in maintaining its authentic bourbon characteristics. Aged for 6 months in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels, our Salted Caramel is woody and slightly sweet with notes of vanilla and coconut. It's smooth with a medium-light body and mouthfeel and a light banana/fruit aroma. There's some caramel and peanut brittle flavors but not cloying or overpowering

Warmth.Our Winter Solstice Seasonal Ale is a hand-crafted “winter warmer” with a deep amber hue and a rich, malty mouthfeel.
