Huguenots may have originated the style as they traveled through France to Flanders, having first mentioned it in the 1600s. During their time, there were said to be seven hundred weissbier breweries in Berlin. Later, in 1809, Napoleon and his troops identified Berliner Weisse as the Champagne of the North. He requested the beer be served w/syrup to cut its extreme level of acidity. Bayrischer Bahnhof’s interpretation is a slightly softer, more mellow version of the “Berliner Weisse” style with a beautiful balance of tartness, fruitness, and sweetness.

Our naturally cloudy beer is a lager beer, which is characterized by its strong bitter taste. It is thus a good recommendation for any typical beer drinker.

Aged in Tequilla barrels for six months.

Leipziger Gose is a top-fermenting wheat beer {60% wheat, 40% barley malt} with coriander, salt, and lactic acid bacteria added in the boil. It is a 4.6% alc/vol eclectic beer whose name evokes a close relationship to the renowned Lambic/Geuze breweries in the Valley Senne nearby Brussels, Belgium.

Wheat beer has an amber-like color. It's a refreshing beer with a typical top-fermented "wheat beer taste." The special feature is the hint of fruitiness. The beer is slightly bitter.

Gose brewed with pine needles.

Our black beer is a lager beer, which is characterized by its dark color and its full-bodied, malzaromatischen taste. It's a rather sweetish beer is recommended for those who like less bitter beer.
