Wheat Ale – 5.3% ABV – 30 IBU

A true farmhouse ale, brewed with locally harvested yeast from Ashburn, Virginia, by Jasper Akerboom. Earthy, slightly tart, and generous carbonation. Fermented at high temperatures to get all the esters and phenolics out of this Saccharomyces cerevisiae "ashburnensis". Dry (0.9 degree Plato final gravity), this beer is refreshing, and will taste best in a stemmed glass after a days work in the field.
