Hardywood Park

Imperial Stout – 12.5% ABV

Hardywood Menagerie is diverse collection of aged beers, bound by the confines of bourbon and rum barrels. Double barrel aged and blended exclusively for the Gallery 5 fifth year anniversary, we aged our Russian Imperial Stout for over 3 months in Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrels. We then racked off a portion of the Stout into a Cruzan Rum barrel while adding equal parts of a Belgian triad consisting of Dubbel, Trippel, and Quadruppel. We then matured this blend of beer in the Cruzan barrels for another 5 months. This blend of beer creates a complex flavor and aromatic profile of tart cherry, dried apple, dark chocolate, vanilla and oak. A smooth yet warming finish captures the essence of the bourbon and rum barrels.
